The Supreme Court eCommittee has inaugurated the Digital Court Technology Office (DCTO) to serve as a centralized hub for modernizing India’s judicial infrastructure. Led by Justice Vikram Nath and supported by key officials from the Department of Justice and the National Informatics Centre, this new administrative and technical body will oversee, monitor, and scale up technology-driven initiatives under the eCourts Project. Ultimately, the office aims to drive greater transparency, accessibility, and operational efficiency across the Indian judicial system.
